Since the pandemic, Natasha and I have been straining under the pressure of keeping up with an exceedingly amount of phone calls and emails.  It has now gotten to the point where we have to make some difficult decisions.  I want to keep my prices where they are, but spending on average of 2-3 hours a day trying to keep up with medical management outside of appointment times has taken us to the breaking point.

Starting June first, just like attorneys, patients will be billed for the time it takes to answer phone calls and emails.  I will keep a monthly log and send a bill to the patient at the end of the month.

The charges will vary on the time it takes us to answer each question in 5-minute segments.  Each 5 minutes will be charged at a rate of $33.00/ 5 minutes.

Thank you,

Dr. Janine Talty
“Healthy body, mind and spirit is the credo of the Osteopath and the belief system that inspires Dr. Talty in the healing process of inspiring her patients to more active, healthy and fulfilling lives.”  John F.
Dr Talty’s philosophy is to deliver personalized and focused comprehensive care, which allows for the time and interaction for complex conditions to be discussed, diagnosed and treated.  Using her broad-based background and boundless curiosity Dr. Talty is able to synthesize the patient’s story with what their body tells her on physical exam.   Utilizing her high-level diagnostic skills in the osteopathic physical examination along with information gleaned from talking and interacting with the patient, Dr. Talty is able to piece together the correct diagnosis. Once the correct diagnosis is made, a treatment plan can be created which empowers the patient to heal and reach their optimum potential.

Prolotherapy is an injection treatment that delivers an irritant solution (dextrose) into tendons, ligaments and muscle attachments to cause a localized productive inflammation that results in the proliferation of new tissue and strengthens and shortens the collagen fibers that already exist in the tissue.

Mold Biotoxin Disease (CIRS)

CIRS is a term coined by Dr. Richie Shoemaker who spent a career figuring out the cause and effective treatment of this complex array of symptoms that certain people develop after exposure to indoor environments that have experienced water exposure.  It is now known, that 50% of the buildings in the US have some sort of interior water damage and do harbor certain species of molds and many other toxic elements that cause neurotoxins to be released from mast cells in our immune system.  In the area of the country where it rains and heat and humidity prevail during the summer months, it is closer to 95% of the buildings.

Board certified in Family Practice, Dr. Talty is able to integrate her knowledge (and curious mind) that when faced with perplexing pain conditions can draw conclusions based solely on physiology.  She began noticing syndromes present in both her male and female patients who had been experiencing severe chronic pain or illness that led her to appreciate the powerful effect that pain and disease states have on the pituitary-adrenal axis system.

Diagnosis & treatment of lyme disease following ilads guidelines

Lyme disease is currently the most under reported emerging infection in this country.  It’s symptoms mimic three hundred different medical conditions.  People can have been infected for years and never known it.

Medical Weight Loss Using the HCG Diet Program

For the past several years Dr. Talty has utilized sublingual Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) along with oral pharmaceutical appetite suppressants and a very low calorie, higher protein diet developed by Dr. Simeon, an endocrinologist in Rome between 1950 and 1970 to aid her patients in permanent pain-free weight loss.

Sports Medicine

The field of sports medicine encompasses many aspects of daily modern life.  Yes, the term it is most widely applied to athletes competing in organized competitive sports, but it also applies to the industrial athlete or stay at home mom who suffers from a repetitive motion injury of the elbow, wrist, shoulder or back.  Athletic injuries can also be caused by normal work or play in the middle aged or elderly athlete who is active and exercises simply to stay in shape in order to reduce cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, relieve stress, maintain a healthy body weight, play golf or simply be able to play with their grandkids.

temporal mandibular joint disease

Temporal mandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ-D) exists in the gap between medicine and dentistry.  It is a joint disorder that can cause a myriad of acute and chronic jaw, face, neck, shoulder, head and ear pain presentations.  Along with pain, it can present with clicking, popping or locking of the jaw, inability to fully open the mouth or move it side to side, earaches, buzzing or ringing in the ears, or sudden inability to find a comfortable position.
